The team at CamperMate & Geozone have an important update about the NZMCA App that you might still be using.

Since 2015 Geozone & CamperMate have been super proud to assist both NZMCA and its members by developing a world-class app for them. Many thousands of bookings have been made through the app over those years. However, NZMCA have now developed and released their own app for iOS and Android.
So what does this mean for you? The current NZMCA app that you’ve been using is no longer available for download on the app store. You may find that you’re unable to make payment on bookings through our incumbent NZMCA app. If you have the app, it will still function (except for making payments), however we will no longer be supporting any further updates on it as it is no longer available for download.

They sure are. Downloading our maps means you can look for things on the app and plan your journey when you’re offline. If you don’t have the maps downloaded and go offline the icons are visible but the map looks blurry, which is not what you need. We update our information daily so connect the app to WiFi as often so you can so you know you’re looking at the latest stuff.
Yes, we like to take care of the travelling fur babies! Look for a dog icon in the description of campgrounds. Or tap on the ‘Pets Welcome’ filter when you’re searching for somewhere to sleep across all accommodation, campgrounds (both self contained and non self contained) and then you know everyone’s welcome once you get there. We have a bunch more Q&As on the app but if you’re got a burning question then please get in touch.
That said, ultimately, it’s up to the owner’s discretion when it comes to pets.
