Your free CamperMate app is able to serve you alerts and warnings as you travel New Zealand, so you’re free to concentrate on the fun stuff. It’s another part of what makes CamperMate the best app for travelling in New Zealand!
All over New Zealand, we provide in-app road warnings and closures near you, or wherever you’re travelling to. You can see these by searching in the app. We work alongside Civil Defence to get weather, earthquake and other emergency alert notifications out to you too.
Being able to see these alerts and warnings in the app as you’re planning or on the way means peace of mind.
Plus we’re working with NZ Mountain Safety Council to keep travellers safe on seven popular hiking tracks around the country! You can currently get pre-trip and in-trip safety warnings on:
- Tongariro Alpine Crossing
- Taranaki Summit Track
- Robert Ridge Track
- Mueller Hut Route
- Ben Lomond Track
- Kepler Track
- Gertrude Saddle Route
